Where are you right now?
I’m in Cesena to see our first samples from SS2014.

What is your current state of mind?
I am very happy about the samples!

Where do you feel most at home?
Home is where my cats are.

Why fashion?
Because it’s a wearable art.

What’s the best advice you¹ve ever been given?
I have had great advice from my parents, but I have to say thanks to Romeo (Romeo’s showroom owner) who I met two years ago in Paris, he gives me very important advice about Vivetta, and how to make my company grow.

What was the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
Oh I have taken lot of risks in my life. I’ve had a wild life…

What is your perfect idea of happiness?
My perfect idea of happiness is to feel satisfied about my work. I like the simple pleasure of being at home, having time to relax and to do what I like.

When and where were you happiest?
I’m happy right now, but if I had to pick a time in the past I would say I had my happiest moments in Florence a few years ago, it’s such a beautiful and peaceful city.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I would like to learn to balance myself. I am very black or white about things, and I live by extremes – it’s all or nothing. 

What is your greatest fear?
Death. I can’t think about it.

Which living person do you most admire?
I admire many people, but all for different things.

What is your greatest extravagance?
I have a few.

What was the last thing you bought?
I bought two lamps. I love interiors and it inspires every collection of mine.

What is your most treasured possession?
A pair of Etruscan earrings my father gave to me.

What would you like to be reincarnated as?
I would like to be reincarnated as a cat. I found a cat portrait in NY in a flea market which I love, then I started to collect animal paintings.

If I wasn’t doing this job, I would have liked to be…
A painter.

What are you reading right now?
“How to become a mother,” I’m currently pregnant.

What was the last film you watched?
“The boyfriend” it’s a musical by Ken Russel, I loved it.

What makes you laugh?
Many things.

What makes you cry?
Violence towards animals or abandoned animals.

Do you have a mentor or inspirational figure that has guided or influenced you?
No, I am my own person.

What was the last thing you read?
“It Chooses You” by Miranda July.

What’s on your iPod?
I have lots…Daniel Jhonston, Conan Mocassin, Tame Impala, Velvet Underground, The Smiths, Nancy Sinatra, The Ronnettes, Feance Gall, Serge Gainsburg and many others.

What sites do you visit everyday?
I like to come across sites that help me find vintage treasures.

Which question do you most dread being asked?
Who is the Vivetta woman? That is the kind of question I hate.

What do you like to eat right now? A Cornetto Algida!

Where are you right now?
At home

What is your current state of mind?

Relaxed, having spent Christmas with the family and indulging in lots of home cooking!

Where do you feel most at home?

My parents house in Hampshire, by the sea

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?

Always stay true to yourself, and anything is possible. Keep your friends and family close and they will guide you.

What is your greatest fear?

Not being good enough, or achieving enough in life.

My mum

What is your greatest extravagance?

My flat in South West London

An Acne T-shirt and white Americano

What is your most treasured possession?

My dog, Daisy. We grew up together

What as the last film you watched?
TV film The Girl. I thought Sienna Miller was exceptional. Before that, Skyfall, which I loved

If your life could be a film, which would it be?

Dirty Dancing, isn’t that any girls dream? I’m a romantic at heart….

What makes you laugh?

My 1 year old niece, she’s such a rascal

What makes you cry?

Other people’s determination to achieve or overcome a situation, always overwhelms me. The Olympics and especially the London Marathon, where people put themselves through such pain for great causes.

What’s on your iPod?

The Who, Emeli Sande, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Sade and Snow Patrol.

What sites do you visit everyday?

My local coffee shop, the London Underground and Instagram

Where are you right now? 
My flat in Dalston working on new H&H metal nail designs for S/S13 and getting distracted booking my flight to India.

What is your current state of mind?
Open to anything.

Where do you feel most at home?
Swimming in the sea.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
From the shaman I spent some time with in Peru: Do what YOU want to do, don’t do what other people want you to do.

What is your greatest extravagance?
Spending all my savings on 5000 pairs of eyelashes!

What was the last thing you bought?
A large raw, uncut amethyst for a friend’s 30th birthday.

What is your most treasured possession?
My surname from my Lithuaniun grandad.

What was the last film you watched?
The Master It was a bit weird.

If your life could be a film, which would it be?
Moulin Rouge, but without dying. Just the fun dress up bits and prancing around in loads of sparkles. Dancing and drinking absinthe… And Broken Embraces for a bit of drama.

What makes you laugh?
Funny people, bad jokes…

What makes you cry?
Very very very funny people

What sites do you visit everyday?

Dalston Emporium for a carrot, ginger and lemon juice for my eyes! Also definitely Google!

Which question do you most dread being asked?
What and who are your inspirations? I don’t know sometimes as they’re subconscious, and I don’t even know where ideas comes from. I’ve decided, they have probably been stored in my head like a back catalogue of random experiences I had as a kid: Films we watched like Death Becomes Her or Pet Shop Boys’ videos, working in my nana’s flower shop or going on trips to the Lake District.
